Employee Development, Safety and Training

At Pauley Construction, keeping our empolyees safe is our top priority. We care about our team members, so we train each employee on safe practices related to the utility construction industry. Our classes include:

• New Employee Orientation and Safety Training
• Smith Defensive Driving / DOT Practices
• Confined Space Entry
• Trench Safety / Competent Person Training
• Electrical Safety
• Weekly "Safety Tailgate" Meetings
• Zero Tolerance Training

In making sure that our employees receive training, we also promote the safety of the communities we work in. When our jobsites, drivers, and workmanship are "guaranteed safe", there are minimal disruptions to our customers, and residents are pleased with the quality and professionalism of our services.

Our committment to the safety of our employees is evident in our in-house safety program. We have been recognized twice for our oustanding achievement in employee safety; in 1999 as recipient of the Willaim H. Feather Award presented by the National Utility Contractor's Association, and in 2001 as recipient of the Mark Dryer Award presented by the Arizona Chapter of NUCA.

Our safety program includes a varity of training methods. Whether video presentations, live demonstrations, intensive training seminars, or in-field training, our programs are designed to increase awareness and promote an attitude of safety. All of our employees are tested in the areas they receive training, and we maintain detailed records.
